User's post on November 26, Mostly these are consequences of overheating the laptop, but as this was certainly not my case I was doing regular service checks , I could even bet on bad quality GPU chips, which was used in manufacturing of this laptop model Now there is no blue screens at all, and laptop performs like new.

Apparently bad soldering, when this laptop was manufactured, is the exact reason, why we are where we are. That BGA chip wasn't dead at all it was just badly soldered.

Problem wasn't in software or drivers - it was just a badly soldered chip I regulary cleaned my laptop from dust, so overheating is not an option here. View solution in original post. You're probably right. After everything I tried I eventually got a new laptop , that's probably the only explanation.

What I did not get though was that the hardware diagnostics were running fine though DELL diagnostics doesn't even test, if secondary video card is working properly. I guess it just shows if main functions of the laptop are working ram test, hdd test, internal video or not. Okay guys, I updated my first post with more information about my progress in resolving this problem.

I'm finished here. Thanks for the info. I've been searching the net like crazy to fix this problem and have gone through a number of uninstalling, installing drivers but to no avail.

Guess I would just have to deal without the amd radeon graphics card since technicians here really charge unreasonably. Hope I could open this myself and check if mine also need some soldering. Well, at least for my model N new motherboard costs around Eur on eBay. It's of course a challenging price for a year old laptop since used ones costs around Eur in my country , but if it is pretty much in a good shape no other broken parts , it could be worthy. I certainly do not recommend to buy refurbished boards from any country especially India or China - they usually offer items cheaper, but with the underlying trick "you get what you paid for" , since you never know, how exactly they were "refurbished" - often it could be a poor quality reflow of the same GPU chip, which means the board could last only a month or two.

From the last time, when I posted here, my laptop keeps performing well, without any problems. Also the keyboard is pretty cheap if you need to replace it, because of accidental spill under 10 Eur. Bad things about N - to change the HDD, you must take a part the whole laptop. I tried uninstalling the amd driver and reinstalling, Igot lastest drivers from amd site. I would suggest that you run the diagnostics on the computer by following the steps mentioned in the video below and check if there is any issue with the hardware on your system.

I ran the diagnostics had done that earlier as well. No issues found there both basic and extended tests ran well. Updated the BIOS with the details in the 2nd link you shared. However, I noticed one interesting thing. I'm not sure if i can just install the drivers for for my video card ?!! Weirdly, the installer detected the card as a HD M and installed the drivers accordingly.

However, even now the blue screen happens when I boot. So issue is still not resolved :emotion Please reinstall the operating system on your system. You can download the necessary drivers for your system. P lease enter your service tag on the link below, select the OS, then download the necessary drivers listed under appropriate section onto the system and install it. Please let me know if this helps. Have you resolved the issue?

I am using Dell Inspiron N and also having same issue now a days. I am running my system by disabling the AMD driver. Problem still exists. Still no luck. The only updated drivers I could see on Dell and AMD are for later versions of this card and not for This is pretty disappointing : I have tried the same above and nothing.

For now I'm using it with Intel HD Graphics to at least have a nice screen resolution to work with, but I can't play most games with more than 1 fps. I wish AMD could release a driver that would support this video card, at least to fix this error. Browse Community.
