The Fire is in the fireplace surprise surprise! The number plaque is on the brick wall behind the fire. Head up there, then use your Camera to zoom in and pick out the number on the plaque. With all the clues found, return to the safe and input the code: The safe will open, letting you grab the Case File on Arthur Edwards! This is actually not as simple as it sounds, for two reasons. First, several of the security guards in the mansion are Enforcers who will see through your disguise, and so will Mr.
Fernsby the butler. Your next move will depend on if you have the Crowbar, or have unlocked the Maintenance Ladder shortcut in an earlier playthrough. This will allow you the fastest, most trouble-free exit if Find the Case File is the last thing you needed to do in Dartmoor. If you have the Crowbar or have unlocked the Maintenance Ladder shortcut, go past the window and as far left as possible, then drop down, shimmy left and then pull yourself up the rail onto the maintenance balcony.
You can then go to the other side of the balcony, unlock the ladder with the Crowbar if you need to, then slide down the ladder into the grass. This is a relatively casual affair, but there are two people you need to watch out for. The second is Mr. The Tuppence Challenge is the third way you can complete this objective. You can first hear about it in the small plaza on the South face of the mansion, where two Bodyguards talk about two halves of a Coin given to Rebecca Carlisle and the Butler, Mr.
Rebecca is the easier one to go for, and she's available right in the Trophy Room West of the plaza. She'll go between the Trophy Room and the Sitting Room across the hallway, and is tended to by a Bodyguard. So, wait for Emma to go to the fireplace and talk on the phone: you can Subdue the Bodyguard and hide him behind one of the olive seats close to the wall. Now go for Emma herself: she'll either be still on the phone, or now in the Sitting Room where you'll have to wait for her to come back.
Hiding the bodies will be tricky because the maid in the hallway can see you dragging them thanks to the doorway. So, use Instinct to see her through the wall and drag the bodies after she's crossed past the doorway. You'll want to hide the bodies in the chest to the left of the doorway hence why it's so tricky.
Next is Mr. He'll be stationed in the Foyer, but he'll have two Bodyguards in the room who will tend to anything suspicious. On top of that, there are more Bodyguards on the mezzanine overlooking the Foyer, so you need to draw them out of the room. What you'll need to do is squat behind some luggage close to the North doorway in the Foyer.
Toss a Coin onto the close edge of the rug to draw a man over, then once they pick it up, toss a second Coin into the small corner to the right of the doorway. This lets you easily sneak up behind and Subdue them without getting spotted.
Don't forget to retrieve your Coins! Once you've taken somebody out, you'll want to dump them in the Locker close to the gun cabinets; the Locker to the right of it puts you at risk of getting spotted by Mr. However once you Subdue Fernsby, you can safely hide him in said Locker.
Once you've done that, you can pick up Mr. Fernsby's Token and complete the Challenge! Well done!
