You had to not only defend your dungeon but use your minions to explore and attack the heros. This game and its sequel were Bullfrog classics. Backyard Football is part of the B ackyard Sports series and was hugely popular back in the late 90s. It was known for its quirky way of bringing playing sports as a kid onto console. The series began with Backyard Baseball in and then Backyard Soccer in before Backyard Football was released in While they did make a third game in the series in for the Nintendo 3DS, the series has been fallow for a while.

Sure, there are other flight simulators, but this is one with a smaller scope to the flying, and also better potential visuals than anything in a plane cockpit. Do we care? Not at all! Video game technology was so primitive then. Imagine competing in the Joust or Powerball with modern graphics capabilities. That would rule.

There are a lot of fighting games, but this is the one that involves clay characters and made use of stop-motion animation. Hopefully, this one will be easier. They actually hoped the original game would be the big release for the Super Nintendo, and that Captain Falcon would be the face of the console.

A new racing game in the series could work. Give us another jolt of that. Richard Karn better be involved, though. Remember when the Crash Dummies were a thing? They were sentient crash test dummies no relation to the band that were also a toy line and stuff.

We could have our cake and eat it too, plus they could reintroduce the characters to a new generation. They use clubs and stone wheels but also boomerangs.
