For those who have never played Boggle, it's a word search game where you try to form as many words as you can within three minutes. The original board game uses a 4 x 4 grid of cubed letters that you "shake" inside a plastic tray. You spell out words horizontally, vertically, or diagonally and write them down on a pad.

A second player is doing exactly the same thing and when time is up measured by sand in an hourglass , you both compare words. A player gets one point for every different word formed, with bonus points depending on length an eight letter word earns you a whopping eleven points. Boggle for the computer follows this exact format, complete with a 3D tray, cubed letters, and an hourglass in the background.
