This is not a guarantee of placement or acceptance. See Internship Interviewing Tips. Additionally, students should research opportunities at companies of interest and utilize any personal contacts. Since an internship is an essential component of the program, the SULA administration is dedicated to working with every student until they have secured an internship.
EVERY student will have an internship. You will register for your internship TRF for a minimum of one credit or maximum of 3 credits through MySlice at your appointed registration time. The Los Angeles Entertainment Industry Practicum is a required component of the program and must be taken in conjunction with your internship.
How does the internship and internship class work in the Summer? Your alumni and career network will grow infinitely when you intern abroad. Meet new people, experience new cultures and learn what its like to live and work in a completely new environment.
I cannot say enough good things about my program leader, her volunteers, my fellow interns, the athletes and what I was able to learn about myself and the international workplace. I learned countless new skills and was able to sit in on many meetings with international diplomats. I left the country with my eyes opened to a more serious career path and a renewed perception of my environment. Reach out to Stephanie Ramin or Myles Chalue to learn more about specific programs.
